One of Ausnet's servers is acting strange... 4/12/03 1:03pm
Alright, it seems as though one of Austnet's servers has gone down the tube (no services and the like).

If you see no one there (and ChanOp, NickOp and the like aren't there) and are connected to a "Spin" server just disconnect from Austnet and try another server.

Very odd, probably a nasty netsplit.

It was only the server provided by Spin Internet and only earler today, not the entire network.

I noticed this as well. I joined #gsf and saw that I was given op status, I let out a whoop of joy. Then I noticed that I was the only one in there. Then I noticed that there was no Topic message or ChanOp. Then I switched servers and just idled in the real channel for most of the time.

AustNet servers are messed up LOTS of times. Happens almost every day that ChanOP disappears, everyone sees that everyone else disconnects, whatever... For those who never see me on #gsf at AustNet: that's because I'm at #fps, channel of the ForumPlanet Syndicate for NukeZone.

And Garnet... I will kill you for your sig. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But you shall be killed for it.

Ya it seems to be the least stable of the three networks I currently use (Gamesnet, QuakeNet, and Ausnet).

About the sig, find something funnier and I'll change it.
