Is this the channel that is called #PBNW?

The one that would seem to be linked to Planet Black and White via the name.

I for one, would check the poster's global profiles, which I'm sure someone did (ie shai).

Some people need to get their facts straigt because they're hyping up at uninformed rumours and spreading them, thus creating alot more damage then there originally was (it seems to me that some people think that an entire forum was annihilated, while only 30 'offensive' post where made in total and get pissy at the wrong people).

I'm going to put in my own two cents here, and advise against that. I've read some of the statements about beating a dead horse later on in this topic, and though I don't believe they apply to shaithis, I think you could probably find some relevence to all these apologies. There's nothing wrong with taking a responsible stance, but I think we should just leave it alone at this point. People said they were sorry, and should probably just move on.
