No kidding. I've found more people that I like online than offline. And it's not like I spend all my time in front of it. BBH, the fact is that seeing people face to face can just as annoying as any "simulation" on the Internet. Sometimes, they're even worse.

But whatever. It's a shame to see you go. Hope you'll drop in from time to time.

However, you can't hit people in the face on the the internet, which gives real life a slight advantage. Of course, they can hit you back, which kind of balances it out.

I didn't reply to this as soon as I saw it. I guess I needed some time to think of an appropriate response. As with most goodbye threads a thought of "he'll be back" came into my mind. Another of "OMG benny no!!111" but in the end I decided I am not gonna post about how much I will miss your forum presence. I am not gonna say that IRC won't be the same. Nor will I say that I don't want you to go. Because I do want you to go, I am not saying I never want to hear from you again, or get the fuck out of my forum. But from knowing you for a decent amount of time and the presentation of your departure I think if you believe it's best then that is exactly what it is. In fact I am tempted to follow in your footsteps. Last night I had an incredible experience in real life, something that really put me more in touch with myself, life and existence. Then I logged on IRC and followed a link to your post. And being in that mindset I was like "Yah.. yah! he's got it! And that is a damn good idea I shall do it as well" Then Suerte said to me "OMG battlefield 1942 PIRATES!!" and i remembered I had the pirate mod and haven't tried it out yet, so I went swashbuckling and thought, I can't leave this place, these people, it would be like moving away. While many times I notice my thoughts wander to places I wish I was, some of which I've never even seen. But one doesn't have to move away to experience what it feels like to be away from home. I find comfort in knowing that.

So Ben "BennyBigHair" Sanchez I bid you a fond farewell from an IRC whore, a forumer, and a friend.
