I find that excessively disturbing. Regarding The Plan: I've posted a little on GSF in the past few weeks, but once again I find myself bogged down with stuff. I'll do what I can.

I don't know if this thread's still kicking, but this is the thread for THE PLAN, so I figured I'd say it here...

The fact of the matter is, I'm in love. I mean, like, deep love, it's all real and stuff. Words can't express how awesome I feel each morning.

What words can do, however, is note that THE PLAN was rockin' for a while, but it's just not doing it for me. It's got a whole swag of awesome people, but I just don't feel I fit in anymore. Coming clean on the whole "I'm not really a gamer" thing, too, doesn't really help. I mean, it doesn't matter, I'm here for the humour, so who cares? Well, it does kind of cut me off just a little bit more, and reinforces my "the internet's full of lies, white lies at the very least" theory.

So what is this? Well, it's not an "I'm leaving" post, because you know I'll never leave for good (famous last words?), but more of a "this is fun, but I've got things to do that are more fun" kind of thing. I'll still post from time to time, I'm sure, it's just my desire and availability to are declining rapidly. Once school's out (in about 4 weeks) I won't be on the computer much at all, as I usually post from class, and only come on this thing at home when I have an assignment to do, or a leaving thread to make...

So, yeah. Back to the lurking I go, and good luck with keeping THE PLAN going... I'll see you guys around, but how often you see me? Well... we'll see.

ok guys I am still with The Plan, but I'm having trouble keeping up with stuff right now so I will probably not be able to contribute for a few weeks. My grandparents are coming to stay, I've been moved into a different room, and I have a new job. These aren't permanent barriers, but they will delay me. I promise I'll play with people occasionally =D

The plan appears to be falling apart. You guys were doing good work for awhile, but now there's nary a topic worth replying to in Active Topics.

I say we just leave that place to the newbs and start having fun in our little corner of internet heaven here. Who knows, maybe someday those newbs will evolve into a new breed of "veterans" and start a clan of their own. I think it's pretty much beyond our control, but we can provide guidance.

That said, [GSF] needs to start recruiting people. If you see someone in the Gamespy forums that looks like a good person, tell them about this place, maybe in a PM, and tell them to apply.

I think it's mostly a failing of moderation. I've been seeing a huge rise in spam, and I'm going to talk to chris about it. Maybe he'll move the moderator elections to an earlier date.
