	<orange>With a total of 25 out of 35 votes (71.4%) going "yes", the new bylaws have been accepted. We'll start work on implementing this as soon as possible, so we can 'live by the rules' soon. Bear with me, though. 	In Reply To #6 I think you hit the nail on the head there. If you don't give enough of a damn to vote about the future of the clan, then why are you hanging around anyway? That being said, I must say I also expected the rash of resignations following the ratification of the bylaws. 	In Reply To #1: GG to that. I obviously voted for the bylaws, as I helped to create them (though not as much as Tech_Paradox, who deserves lots of respect for his efforts), but I didn't expect most people would. I'm glad to see that most people in the clan did actually appreciate the work put into them, and decided it's about time we got rid of all those old, inactive members... I just have one comment: am I the only one who finds it amusing that if the bylaws had been forced to reach the same percentage of acceptance needed for initiates (now raised to 75%), they wouldn't have succeeded? Eh well, it's best not to mention that I guess. I think 71% is more than enough of a 'Yes' vote to go ahead with the whole Bylaw procedure, and hopefully everyone else here agrees. The sooner they're brought in, as far as I'm concerned, the better for the clan.

	To my excuse, I have to say that I spent most of the last two months revising my study life, and have lost track of all my net activities as a result. But generally, I'd say that if I were running GSF, I'd want me out of the clan. I came here when getting in was basically a yes or no question, either people liked you and you got in, or not, voting was more of a symbolic thing. Back then, there were a mere 15 or 16 members, far as I know, and for me, the forums haven't really changed since then, so I'm horribly slow to adapt to those new rules. That and while I try to always vote on initiates, I also chronically loose my passwords...

And has it just gone really long without anybody applying, or have I been fritzing, or have we been purposely not accepting initiates until the bylaw situation has been decided?
