Leaving SWG, Going back to AO. 10/29/03 6:51am
That's my plan. I have already cancelled the billing, so if any of you want to see me do my last dance, or are in need of money (30k), let me know. I am not leaving permanently, rather, I am just taking a break until they actually develop the game. I feel that it is great at the moment, but it doesn't make me want to go out and do any combat, and paying 15 bucks a month for a graphical IRC client with more emotes in the Star Wars setting just doesn't seem it's worth.

I am planning to get the Shadowlands expension next month, along with NFS Underground when it is released. Actually, I think I will most prolly be hooked onto NFS when it's out. I don't know, we will see, but so far, who is interested?

I have two AO copies lying around here, with the Notum Wars. Might try the free month if I don't need anything else to play.

ouch, I never knew leaving the game would be so difficult... sigh, well, whats done is done, I am not looking back until they make the game more playable.

Argghhhh not another one. Although we didn't play together that much I still hate to see a buddy go.

There are times when I feel like I've had enough of the bugs and nerfing. Then I find something new to do or skills to aquire that lure me back in. For the first month I was a Master Smuggler, meeting dozens of new people everyday and raking in boatloads of cash. The next month I was a Combat Medic spreading poisons on groups of scummy Rebels. Then just recently I gave up my uber Pistoleer skills to start up the most difficult combat profession - Rifleman. Everytime I start to get bored I give my character an overhaul. Keeps the game fresh so when I log in, I don't know what to expect.

Anyway, hope you come back sometime. If not, consider yourself lucky for having the willpower to stay away. happy

Just curious, am I the only human being on this forums that actually play Anarchy Online? You guys don't know what you are missing!

Well, if you guys actually scrape up some dough to play the game, I am on Rubi-Ka 1, and I will usually go by the name of Hakumei, if not, it will be Issui.

And if you think I have weird names, go pick up Japanese, it is a great source of cool-sounding-although-I-don't-know-what-it-means names.

And just for your info, Issui means a gush of water (kinda fits my Martial Artist, with her fists of fury and what not)

And Hakumei simply means dusk. (again, it fits her, she is a Shade)

I just love playing teacher =0p
