Savage Eden (A free MMORPG game) 1/31/04 6:09am
What is it?

A Diablo-style game, lots of simple combat, the first few levels are very easy to get, lots of weapons that show up on your character, etc.

Where do you get it?

Here. Remember to sign up though.

Who plays?

I have a level 9 warrior.
Zaffod plays.
So do a bunch of others, but I don't know who they are off the top of my head. So, post in this thread if you play.

Level 52 now. A few blablas if I may:

- If you're like me and hate the sound effects, and although you've turned them off in the options the goddamn rain sound still plays, then overwrite the sounds in your C:\Games\Savage Eden\data\Sound\ directory with these muted wavs. Annoyance be gone!

- If you hate the music too, know that for some reason the Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack makes an awesome substitute.

- Put your money in the bank, you lose a percentage of it each time you die.

- Do quests wherein you have to kill "cursed" monsters. Mad XP rewards. The idea is that you have to hunt a certain amount (20-30, perhaps a bit more) of a certain kind of enemy until you get a message saying that the next monster will be "cursed". Make sure no faghat killstealers are around, and attack another enemy of the same kind. On the first attack, it'll turn into an oversized and beefed up version of the same enemy. Kill it and reap the XP.

- Oh, to get quests, you have to buy something called a Stealth Device (misleading isn't it? fgt devs.), put it in the lower middle bar ("quick select" bar, "hot" bar, whatever it's called), and use it.

To setup a guild, someone over lev 50 needs to email LadyGM (her address is somewhere in the site) and Register it. Then members need to req the Guildmaster or Deputy. If nobody plans to do it soon, I'll do it when I hit 50 or 51 (I'm 44 now).

BTW, My Ingame name is EkShush.

If Leo makes a guild, it will probably be named something like "Tubgirls goatse shack" and the worst thing is, you guys will LIKE IT. *me points at everybody all creepy hag like*

...now anyway, I finally got it, but all the character options look like...Football players...time for gender-bending.

I would play, but whenever I go to attack an armadillo or dragonfly wasp, the attack icon doesn't come up. Then 10 minutes later it comes up while pointing at a different enemy, so I click, and it goes back and attacks the fucking thing I was trying to kill 10 minutes ago.
