The (Possibly) Resurrected GameSpy Arena WANTS YOU! 7/22/06 7:15pm
Yes we do!

Basically the main Gamespy boards have decided to bring back the famed GSF Arena matches. Back in ye olde days we had these tournaments the whole forum would be part of. Sometimes [GSI] would even show up for a game or two of Tribes 2 or Quake.

We want to bring these games back to the limelight and have some new blood join the games.

Due to our friendly relationships with PBnW we want to invite you guys to the first new GSF Arena tournament of Counter-Strike: Source. If you wish to join (and please do!), visit the link above to find out more.

If you have any questions just ask me in the main thread on GSF.

Honestly, we want to start some more forum unity going on and this was the first thing to come to mind. Hope to see you guys join up.

I would be well on this, if I hadn't arrived back from China after eight months to discover my steam account had been banned.

Valve haven't exactly been forthcoming with details either. In fact I read it's against policy for them to give details on banned accounts.

And, as much as I love CS, I'm somewhat reticent to buy another copy at $50 if something as unexpecteded as this is going to happen again. I've never cheated in any online game.

Has anyone had any similar complaints that were eventually resolved?

Oh, hey. Tribes 2. Those were good times man.

But CSS? Nah, not for me, but thanks all the same.

This actually belongs in communtiy gaming but I'll just move it (much) later. Gets more exposure here.

Come to think of it I do still have Tribes 2. Never much good at it though.

But for funsies? Hell yeah, count me in.
