I am making it a goal to bring life back to the forumplanet community. At one point in time Forumplanet was one of the most vibrant online communities. Paving way to hundreds of users each day and generating thousands of posts to boot. It seems that that time was so long ago. Occasionally over the years I have dropped in to check on forumplanet as a whole. Lurking the online users" and "active topics" sections. To no avail it has progressively gone downhill. It's no secret that this place is well past it's prime, but still there hanging on. It's evident that whether or not anyone wants to admit it, this place actually means something to those of us who used to frequent it. The inane posts and flame wars that went on here are just as meaningful as the legitimate discussions we held. I know those of you that still lurk around, if you look back you'll feel a bit nostalgic even for a moment. The truth is this place still means something to you, why else would you be here? Why else would you be reading this post? It's time we bring this place back to life. It's time we restore the thriving community that once was. Start with suggestions now. Spread the word, do everything you can.My first suggestion is a forum overhaul. Certain communities are forum wastelands and could very easily be deleted. New ones for more popular games could be created in their place. We could condense the forumplanet community as a whole and gather all of the various users throughout into one. From there we start branching out and recreate the diversity that once existed. I think this place could also use a new template. I for one was a big fan of the original templates. They were easy to navigate and overall they felt very comfortable.

I wish your efforts well but ForumPlanet is just a sick old dog now. Leave it to die in peace.
This old format while comfortable for the old regulars wiil not atract new members in the needed quantity.
.
Any major change will probably kill the site quicker than the Lionhead revamp that reduced the site from 15 posts a day to now less that 2 on average for B&W.

I appreciate the sentiment, but it's still worth a shot

Much appreciated. It seems activity has started to centralize around PBF and GSF. The more united we are and the more we have the better chance we have of starting anew:)

Maybe it is just the nature of things old forums fade away to make room for the new.
