I found it so disappointing when I heard that COBRA stands for Cabinet Office Briefing Room A. It just doesn't complement the whole bad ass sound of the acronym.

Also I just found out the Scottish parliament's equivalent is called SEER, the equally benign sounding Scottish Executive Emergency Room.

Are you kidding? Even Cobra Commander wouldn't have bungled something like this! My only conclusion is that Pinky and the Brain have taken senior positions in Al Quadea.
