although that made me a little bit mad. It was nice to see solid snake from a different pre-respective. Overall MGS2 is my second favorite MGS.

World of Warcraft -
God damn stupid fucking Night Elves, get out of my party. Why do I group with you? I know you only rolled Night Elf because you think they look cool, so why should I expect you to know how to play the game? I will never group with a Night Elf (or a Blood Elf) again.

All the DoW games are awesome.

I didn't think they were that hard, either. Easier by far than CoH (another great game).

It's true that many gamers have a morbid fascination with night elves. Aelon's search logs have far, far too many records of people searching for "night elf porn".

I won't go in to what else people have been looking for. Needless to say I don't know why they chose my site to look for it.

I should have probably emphasized this part. I agree the game is great, but unless it was stupid-easy, I'd probably have trouble with it. I think before this, the only other RTS game I ever played were a few of the first missions on a burned copy of Starcraft long-long ago.

Actually, now we get some of those same morons on horde side now that we have "sad-pervo-fappable" blood elves on our side.

Aside from the usual moans about Raiden and Xen which are 100% on the button:

Deus Ex 2 - Amazingly single ammo type wasn't the most annoying thing. For some reason the mouse disappeared in the biomod and inventory screens, meaning I had to randomly click about like mad to get them installed as they'd oh so helpfully ditched the keyboard shortcuts from the first game. Fortunately I discovered about half way through that I could see the mouse if I changed into windowed mode; but that was still half a game's frustration that sullied the game even more than it was already sullied.

Wii Tennis - Why can't you act more like a tennis racket? Why, why why?

Peggle - My GOD getting a million points on a single level was so fucking hard and time consuming. I dont know why I have to be such a completest.

Starcraft - But I want to select all those units not just 12 of the fuckers. Aw c'mon just let me do it.

Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast - So I've just been cutting up all and sundry with my lightsaber and now you tell me I have to sneak past all these guys. Just fuck right off!

Enter the Matrix - I'm so glad I just borrowed that game. Aside from being shite, only having about 7 moves at best (rather than the 1500 or so claimed) and so on a couple of levels were rendered impossible to complete thanks to the utterly shoddy AI of the computer in the driving levels. I don't know how it managed to get a fucking driving license.

Worms 3D - Why did they even bother making it? It was kind of fun but it was never going to live up to the 2D incarnation was it?

Warrior Within - It should have been great, the level design was alright, the combat system was vastly improved, what could go wrong? Clearly a boorish Prince, a poor storyline, a horrid nu-metal soundtrack and some dull, uninspired art direction: that's what!

Will Rock - Cliched, horrible knock off of Serious Sam (but in Greece rather than Egypt) which utterly failed to be anywhere near as enjoyable.

Yes, the graphics do look pretty, but it doesn't mean I want to have a camera that's so far zoomed in that I can barely see past the gigantor tank taking up an eighth of the screen.

SupCom:
It's TA with better graphics. I expected so much more. I still love how it plays, but I'll stick to its spiritual predecessor since I don't need a supercomputer to run it.

All the Need for Speeds after Porsche Unleashed (excluding the PS2 version of Hot Pursuit 2):
How can you bugger up the handling so bad, and so repetitively? Hopefully with a new engine NFS Pro Street will be a return to form.

Rome Total War:
Rubbish battle camera. I hate how it doesn't allow seamless movement from one battle front to the other.

It's also far far far too addictive. I can no longer sleep before 2am because of this damn game.

Battlefield 2:
How can someone have fun by standing at a friendly airbase and blowing up any friendly who jumps in a plane/helicopter?

I hate how aircraft are almost impossible to shoot down, yet they can destroy a tank in one pass.

Only about 3 maps are ever played regularly. The awesome Euro Forces maps don't even have Aussie servers.

STALKER:
Not enough ammo, runs like a dog yet looks similar to HL2 (which runs like a dream).

HL2:
The city-17 battlescenes were repetitive (same buildings, same textures, same everything). Sure, it added atmosphere of it being a city where everyone is supposed to be the same, but no city is THAT perfect.

The Sims 2:
Poor pathfinding. How hard is it to use the freaking stairs?

Simcity 4:
What happened to the classic Simcity 2000 formula of building a supercity? It's just too fiddly for its own good.

Quake 4:
Blurg. The Doom 3 engine just isn't that good!

Oblivion, RCT3, COD2, The Sims:
All had frustrating show-stopper bugs popping up from time to time.

The whole Half Life 2 episode thing:
Once every six months my arse, episode 2 better blow my mind and last more than 6 freaking hours.

Counterstrike:
Why do people still play this game? It has outdated game mechanics and is full of meatheads.

Steam:
Neat idea, but far too intrusive. I don't want to be forced to update a single player game before I can play it. I also don't want a resource grabbing program running in the background while I play.

That's all I can think of for now.

Come to Australia, they're still somehow managing to sell the Gold Edition for $30 in some places. Though it's finally fallen to the ultra-budget release of $20 everywhere else. Still, it's had a pretty awesome run for a 8 year old game.
