No, not Doom Metal, the metal in Doom. I always referred to that one song being Slayer's Behind the Crocked Cross, but I had no idea how deep it went:

They sure did rip off a lot of artists though.

I think I had something to do and never looked at it. My past has caught up to me. I may make a playlist on my iPod of all the Doom songs and then the "real" versions, listen and compare.
