Fetts_Vette posted:Motorstorm: Pacific Rift will have 4-player splitscreen which would be nice when you have friends over. Warhawk is cool, but not everybody gets into it. I have to admit, it was the second game I bought for my PS3, but it's probably the one I've played the least. It all depends on the match you find. If you get a game where you can compete, it's a blast. If you're just getting schooled the whole time as soon as you spawn, then it gets old really, really fast. That said, I should probably pop it back in now that I've beaten all the PS3 games I currently own (well aside from beating every single race in Motorstorm and GT 5: Prologue).

GeneralVulture posted: Have you tried this in Warhawk: - 2 player spit screen online team deathmatch? Just get a friend over, search for a team deathmatch (or CTF) with an odd number of players already playing (because this way you can switch teams if you or your friend begin on opposite teams). The advantage of having a friend on your team sitting right next to you is better strategy and communication which in my experience translates into a much more fun experience.

I didn't know you could do that. My one friend who comes over to play PS3 with me did sorta enjoy Warhawk the couple times we played it, this might be pretty sweet if he and I got a team game going on the same side. Next time he comes over I'll give this a try. Plus we have the new, free veteran maps for Army of Two to play through.

It may give new life to a game that hasn't gotten much play from me. I know my friend and I enjoyed playing Army of Two together, so I'm thinking he would probably like this, and since there's no "end" to it, we might wind up playing it a lot longer than we did Army of Two.
