According to a "making of" program they made up a "new" martial art for him to use. And then they obscured it to holy hell in Begins. It made sense to obscure it in the first encounter with the mobsters on the docks, but after that it was pointless.

It was nice to be able to see what he was doing a little more in Dark Knight.

Generally just ignore such comments kids have no idea, hell half of them didn't even play Metal Gear (note the first one on NES not PS) or know what it is.

http://www.latinoreview.com/news/dark-knight-rumor-4-542-johnny-depp-as-the-riddler-5140

Interesting article, I figured I'd dump into here, since it's Dark Knight related. Remember this is all rumor and most likely isn't true, but it offers up some debat on who you would like to see as the new villian and who you want to play them.

Rumors have been going around that Riddler would be the next villian. I have been racking my brain who would do the Riddler justice, I don't really read comics, just wikipedia them, so I would have to dig through files on the riddler. I still haven't come up with a name, stupid Jim Carey pops into my head like a bad car crash everytime I think of someone. Mostly because I recall the riddler being very very skinny, almost like a piece of wire.

Would you like to see JD play him? Me personally no, while he is a great actor, and well established. Everyone seems to get a guilty thrill watching him perform even in his terrible movies. I am not completely convinced he would a good Riddler, I am not even sure which Riddler story he would use. Though many critics were wrong about Joker and Heath, however, we have more to go on Johnny Deep then the couple of movies Heath did that aren't Teen movies.

Penguin as Hoffman, I could see that. For some reason I see Pengiun being protrayed like his roll in Charlie's War. I am sure this is only because that is the last movie I saw Hoffman in and I love his character. But as with the riddler I don't know too many of the penguin stories. While Nolan made up an orginal story for TDK, he used several of the comics to produce his joker. I think i would lean more to wanting to see Hoffman/Bale then Deep/Bale.

Awesome movie. The pencil disappearing was freaking hilarious. Batman's voice is a little forced, yes, but it's not a big deal. The Joker was amazing, best villain I've ever seen, good job Heath.

I wondered why Batman did not just tell Two-Face, "look dude I was trying to save her but the Joker gave me your address instead, so shut the fuck up about me saving you."

Or he could have let them both die.

That way not one of them spends the rest of their lives in misery and vengeance.

no he doesn't. Bale's stunt double is Buster Reeves, a martial arts champion. he's the one who thought of using it.

I stand corrected. Though Krav Maga is still the most bad-ass martial art ever.

The episode of Fight Quest where they train in Krav Maga was crazy.

It is the frank & cynical recognition of the inevitable limitations of people in general which makes me absolutely indifferent instead of actively hostile toward mankind.
