Correct.

And Grolsch is pretty fantastic as well.

Northeast

Speaking of which, I forgot to mention Smuttynose IPA. Inconsistent quality and very dependent on proper handling, ie skunks easily. But when you get a fresh six from a good batch, it's about as good as it gets.

As far as Beck's vs. Heiny, I found Beck too bitter for my tastes, and Heineken more drinkable. Personal taste FTW.

Grolsch was pretty good though.

Heineken, but this last year I have also been drinking a fair amount of Zyweic, a polish beer.

I recently got turned on to Leinenkugel and the creamy dark version of it. Good stuff.

Holy crap, I've got money again! I can drink once more, which is good, seeing as I haven't had one drink for an entire month...

From my limited experience I'm partial to a Corona. Though recently I discovered Stella Artois, which a pretty decent brew and it's cheaper than Coronas to boot. I hate Carlton Draught with a passion, of course everyone drinks it here since it's cheap as piss (maybe that's because it is?). Hell, even Victoria Bitter is better in my opinion.

Have not had Becks, but Heineken is overrated.
My favourite is Fort Garry's Dark Ale.
It's a locally brewed beer and damn great. I also like Alley Kat's flavoured beers, they're great because they have a beer taste with an aftertaste of whatever (ie: in summer the aftertaste was strawberries).
So far for stuff that isn't locally brewed I've only really liked Alexander Keith's Indian Pale Ale.

I don’t like beer, so my favorite beer would be a light beer since it’s half water. lol

I like fruit juices mixed with carbonated water.

WOAH, easy mate... I thought you were smart? NOTHING is worse than VB... except maybe Fosters.

^Aha that's the response most of my friends deliver to me as well. Perhaps it's because I haven't had VB in a while. Dad used to drink it all the time but he's moved on to more obscure (and tastier) beers now.

My preferred brew right now is Staropramen.

For sheer drunkenness-fostering joy, get any of the 10% beers from Québec: Fin du monde and Maudité: they're good and they're STRONG.
