To start this thread off I'll give you guys my best Tuna Salad recipe.

Put 1 can of white albacore tuna into a bowl. Rinse then crush the tuna so it is not chunky. Dice up a couple of baby dill pickles and shred some sharp chedder and add those. Nest add 5 or 6 drops of lemon juice. Then add a dash of white pepper and a fair amount of garlic salt(depending on your taste). Put just enough mayo to get it all sticking and mix it all together. Spread the mix on some wheat bread and enjoy.

I had some the other day, was delicious.

Creepy, I'm having tuna salad in about half an hour.

Here's my favorite recipe. It's easy to make, and it tastes phenomenal:

Penne Alla Vodka

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto, cut into thin strips
One 28-35 ounce can Italian peeled tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup vodka
Salt
1 pound penne
½ cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

In a skillet large enough to hold the cooked pasta, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until golden, about 2 minutes. Stir in the prosciutto and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tomatoes and crushed red pepper and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the cream and cook, stirring well, for 1 minute. Add the vodka and cook for 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt.

Meanwhile, bring at least 4 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the pasta and salt to taste. Cook, stirring frequently, until the penne is al dente, tender yet still firm to the bite. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the cooking water.

Add the pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss the pasta until it is well coated. Add a little of the reserved cooking water if the sauce seems too thick. Add in the cheese and toss again. Serve immediately.

I keep a favorite recipes file on my HDD at all times. If you all post something that sounds good, I'll add it.

I posted up a couple of recipes over in the Jack forums. And I'm too lazy to retype them over here, so...

Barbequed hotdogs:

1. Fire up barbeque
2. Cook hotdogs
3. Eat as many hotdogs as you can as fast as you can before your wife catches you force-feeding a stroke.

Also, fish tip: Broil fillet at 500 F about 5 or 6 inches below the broiler (usually the second shelf down) for 13 minutes per inch of thickness. This works every time.

The best part is it's relatively cheap, makes a crapload of food, and has a ton of potential for improvisations. I don't think we have made it the same way twice.

Oh man, I'm getting hungry...

Yes, I've used allrecipes.com myself on quite a few occasions.

Today, being inspired by the burrito theme, I am having burritos for lunch. With refried beans, yumm.

Yeah, I think I might have to wait on the pie. That was a promise born of alcohol. I forgot I'd actually have to make a list and go to the market today.

I hate going to the grocery store, especially with my GF. What should only be a 10 minute snatch and grab ALWAYS turns into a 2 hour stroll throughout the entire store.

Sure, but there may be a slight problem. She talks the entire time.

And I have no idea what to eat tonight. Any suggestions?
