The article discusses how Romero's classic zombie movies exploitt social and economic perils through the movies. It also shows the fears of society. But the most interesting part of the whole article is how it explains zombies triumpth of the evils of racism, capitalism, materialism, sexism, and consumerism by the zombies apathy and uncaring. And by doing this humans are horrified. It exploits the basic fundamental fears and shows that life can end in a split second.

What I saw was a bunch of points made back when the original Night of the Living Dead came out way back in the '60s. That's what I was getting at.
