My name's David J. Williams; I was the guy who wrote the story for 1999's HOMEWORLD from Relic Entertainment, which some of you might remember as having won PC Gamer's Game of the Year (ten years ago!). I also was a contributing writer on the sequel.

I'm still involved in creating science fiction, only now I'm doing novels. I wanted to let folks know that the first two books of my Autumn Rain trilogy are out now from Random House: MIRRORED HEAVENS and BURNING SKIES. Library Journal has called it "stellar hard SF", but you can also get a feel for the world of the early 22nd century over at my website: www.autumnrain2110.com.

My apologies to the administrators of this site for the blatantly self-promotional nature of this message, but hopefully my contributions to the industry will help me avoid instant deletion. : ) The books have been received really well among gamers; no surprise, I suppose, given that they feature spaceplane hijacks, O'Neill platform shootouts, space elevator detonations, and all sorts of other cool stuff. Thanks for your time, and hope to see you in the 22nd century!

cheers,

djw
