My Wife and I are gamers, she loves the old “Black and White 2” but not me.
We both loved the old Age of empire 1 and 2, but don’t really like the AOE3.

She hates games were something evil will jump out and kill you.

So I am trying to find us a good game “Dragon Age” is out..too long and graphic don’t look that great.
We are both looking for a RPG-action the we can play as teams or COOP, she does not like Fallout3, she said its too boring.. we played Lord of the Rings and liked it.
We don’t like World of warcraft, way too long, we like to build and fight/magic, swords, not too much micro-management.

Any new games the we missed? We are also looking for nice Graphics.
Our PC rigs have quadcore H2o cooled with dual crossfire 4870 x2 H2o cooled Vid cards in each PC, so looking for a game with lots of eye candy.
Please any suggestions? Oh and yes I did take my wife out to dinner and dancing... but we have kids and like to game..
We have looked in every store here in Edmonton and all the games just look so boring.

Thanks for your suggestions.
Hozer..

Do you smell that; I love the smell of Thermal compound in the morning.

You could LAN Diablo 2.

You better find a game quick though.  Wives who like to play games are keepers.

The original Guild Wars is cheap now and has pretty graphics. It's what got my fiancee interested in PC gaming.

No subscription fees are a bonus and it's definitely in the shallow end of the pool as far as online RPGs goes in terms of complexity. Plus if you like it, there's like two or three expansions out for it now.

Good idea. The original GW and two expansions are bundled at Best Buy now for about $40.
