A copy from the lobby, for those who don't go there.

So yea, some have you have heard this before, not many with the solo, but quite a few with the techno.

The Bass Solo - This isn't a good solo, it's about a year old recording, my technique has changed since then, far smoother, faster, and less emphasis on soloing though, more on playing with other people. It's just the only one I have on my computer, so I'll share it all with you. Comments are appreciated though.

The Techno Song - I did this a while ago too, it's pretty decent, in my opinion.

Aaaahhhh History......
Long time ago before the mp3 arrived there was a file type called *.mod. Since much Techno is the same sample repeated all over the sample would only be needed 1 time and then a counter on how many times it should be repeated. This gave the files a distinct very low-fi sound, but many of the tracks was really great. I have a file where citations from the crow is mixed into a really neat 16 sample file. This file lasts 2:26 and is around 700Kb. Another has a length of 5:41 and takes up 246Kb.

This program was used to play the music in DOS:

Yea, Fruity Loops can output in that type of file, really small, but it's kinda pointless since everyone doesn't have a player...

Can anyone recommend a [good] free (or reletively cheap) sound editing software. I have my mic, my amp, and my bass but nothing to record and edit songs with.

I personally don't have Kazaa Lite (more for bandwith and time reasons than moral) but the last time I checked it didn't let you edit songs.

I don't need your help to look like an asshole.

Beyond that I'm a 56ker. so warez isn't really an option (I tell everyone if I'm running a download through the night but if for some reason it fails and my computr doesn't shut down [DAP] then my mom freaks out "Gandma could be trying to phone!" "But Mom, I have a program that tells us when people call." "I don't care, download during the day." My mom comes home from work a week later "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU ON THE INTERNET?" "You told me to download during the day." "We're missing important calls!" "But I have a program that logs callers when I'm online." "I don't care, download at night!" and repeat.).

Just download it when you're online, it's not that big, 30mb if I recall... You can buy it, but it's about 100 bucks.
