Now that looks like fun.

Those big inflatable things... are they easy to pop?

I take it your the blonde guy? And are those inflatable things tied down? Or can you move 'em?

Whenever I used to go paintballing, it was just the natural cover along with maybe a few pieces of scrap junk.

So ironic.

It's called a speedball field. It's where most "professional" teams play. The inflatable things are called bunkers. They're tied down and quite heavy. Myself being a hardcore paintballer prefer woods instead.

I'm gonna go paintballing next week, on Saturday. There's like 5 of us going, at this cool wooded place, it's crazy fun. My dad's even gonna go...I got no moneys so he's gonna pay for me. I'm gonna stick with him because he's gonna kill mucho foolios because he's a cop. He's gonna get up behind people and handcuff 'em, it'll be great...maybe some pepper spray and some nightstick whippin.

I'd like to paly paintball. But you can't open a paintball field in Lower Austria since old people who don't even know what it's about say it's too "paramilitaristic" so the only way to do it is drive out east into the next ex-soviet state and play there.

But those guys always give you a salvo between the shoulder blades to see if you can stand the heat. Ouchies.

I never thought you'd be into S&M, Maestro, especially not with your dad.

My thoughts exactly. On campzone we could play paintball too, but it used those inflatables. So I didn't play.

Well, I can imagine why some of you wouldn't like that style of play. It's not for every one.

Personaly, I believe it's the only way to play. Recball is fine and all, but your skill won't increase as much as it will on the tourny scene. I like sup' air mainly because it is faster, shorter and tighter then anything else. Plus the level of play is usualy a lot higher then you'll find anywhere.
Certain tournies here are still played on hard grounds, but the best games are always on sup'air fields.

If you are a "hardcore" paintballer as you claim to be. Then I'll take it you've tasted the tourny scene, played some games against the best people in your country? And if so, then how the hell did you get turned off?

And if you havn't expirienced a well put together tournament then put down that spyder or Tipman, go out and buy an Angel or timmy. Find a Novic team playing in the nearest PSP or NPPL tourny and have a go. It is alot different to anything you've ever expirienced.

And then everything changes once you've played X-ball.

Oh yeah, and I read some stuff you guys said about me. Really cool that it was nice, and not out of spite or anything. Also, to clear the water, no I did not leave out of hate, my hate died off before I left.

I just left one day, and didn't come back. Until this little thing of course, but you get that. and [P]aradox, you've changed some what...became wiser, older, crankier...how the hell did you become the wring leader...I meant that in a good way of course.

Heh, you guys think speedball and all that tournament stuff is the only way paintball is played? I don't recball, I scenario. I don't own a Spyder or a Tippy. More like my god-given Bob Long Dragon. My fancy just doesn't swing towards snap shooting and bunkering all the time.

Fair enough. It's just that in message boards you get alot of people who just play recball pretending to know what they are talking about. Obviously you do know what you are talking about so I'm sorry for any of my remarks that may have seemed offensive.

Personaly, yes I do believe that Sup' air is better then field and woods games, but that's me. There is a big difference in tourney and scenario players. You guys think we are up ourselves wanna be cool dude pricks. And we think you guys are running around simulating war games.
Well, as a generalisation of the groups think of each other that is.

I respect you scenario players, it's alot cheaper. And alot different style to what I play. They're both two completely different games, and I just don't like your type and that's my call.

And good to hear of another timmy man, Shocktech Timmy all the way for me though.

I often find the two sides arguing a lot. They're two different styles of play, but both types of players seem to think only one can dominate. In reality only 20% of paintballers in America play speedball, giving them an elitist attitude. I don't hate speedball, I think it has its pros and cons. But I do love the fact that Oklahoma D-Day, a scenario game, is the biggest paintball gathering there is with 4000 participants. So I might hold that against you tourney players for some time. wink
