Storybook time with Morbid. Yes, it's a crime against humanity.
2/18/04 7:01am
This here is a tall tale of my adventures today. There's actually some truth in this story, as there is with all tall tales. Most of it is insane, though, just the way you like it.
Now, what I've done here is have links to the pictures, since I want you to read the story text for each part before it's associated drawing, in order to get the full effect.
=================
Today I went to university on the
bus.
I got there 4 hours before I had to be there, so I
waited.
I was planning ahead this year. Last year the school server crashed, and I got stuck with a
really crappy timetable.
So, I was right there when the first wave of students hit the server.
Despite the server all but crashing under the immense load that hit it at exactly 3:30pm,
I managed to sign up
for my tutorial classes.
I then turned my energies to
helping my friend
, who used the computer I was just on.
But to no avail!
Evil Telstra had pulled the plug on the connection so no-one else could sign up for their tutorials. Apparently this was because they are evil.
And so I was one of the lucky few to actually sign up.
I accepted my fortune with good grace.
Everyone seemed happy for me.
At least, I had thought I was one of the lucky few. On questioning a teacher, let us call her Mrs. Good, I discovered that my signing up would be cancelled, so I'd have to go in and do it on a piece of paper at 8:00am the next day!
Needless to say, I was disappointed.
It was then I realised that Mrs. Good was not Mrs. Good at all! It was Mrs. Evil wearing a cunning disguise - a different coloured
hat!
I made my discovery known to her.
Then I threw a donkey at her
, crushing her body to a pulp.
It was then that
Gandalf appeared
. We greeted each other in the polite manner that is common in among two gentlemen.
He had a quest for me
- I was to go and slay the King of the Orcs.
It was a great honour, and I set out immediately,
with a song in my heart.
But first I stopped for thirty minutes of
muscle building
at the university gym.
And then
I was on my way
, producing a sword out of nowhere.
On the way, I slew legions of
Goblins
,
Even larger legions of
Trolls
,
And even some
Demonic Treants
.
Then I reached the King of the Orcs, and
I greeted him politely.
Then we began to
fight.
I stunned him with a
special attack.
And then
I slew the evil King of the Orcs.
And then I stole all his gold and
lived happily ever after.
The End

Thanks. I know that the temptation of looking at the drawing before reading the text is too great to just put the images underneath the text, which is why I did it.

Right. If that Troll, Goblin, Demonic Treant and Orc King didn't want to be horribly killed, they shouldn't have existed.

Actually, we're blaming Gandalf for that. But you're free on the 'crime against humanity' part.

I've come representing the Orcs in the manner of their King's death.
As the party of the third part wishes to file grievneces against you.
You have been served...

I'm not sure if I can quite pinpoint the exact moment when the story becomes fictional..... : /
