So, art... who cares, right? Now pets... that's the shit.

I know you all have pets. Any house with a keyboard will, no doubt, have some sort of animal to jump near it (or at least leave fur or drool or something)

So I have three cats. One house cat, two adopted strays. Princess Smudge, the house cat, is a real prissy bitch (as the name might suggest) but I loves her. She usually annoys my sister the most, so that's always a plus.

The other two, Marmalade and Kitty, well they're just a big tub of orange that loves food, and a scrawny little thing that loves hiding.

So, then! Pets! Have them, do you? Talk of them, shall you? Post pictures because it's awesome and cool, might you?!

We have no pets. But next door has an adorable little schnauzer. Sometimes she comes over, which is good, because you can have fun with the dog, but not have to ever feed it or take it to the vet or anything.

But I'd still prefer my own. I just wish schnauzers weren't hundreds of dollars.

We have to cats at home, we got them through the animal shelter and have had them since they were kittens. Apparently some bastard left them in a bag under a bridge when they were just born.

My cat is trying to kill me. On Sunday night she swiped at ym eye. I was able to close my eye and most slightly, thogh not without taking a rather annoyingly painful scratch on my right eye's bottom eye lid.

Thje next day she gave me quite the scratch to the nose. It broke the skin.

I will try to post pictures of my fat, tail-less (it got ran over and was amputated) cat.

Pic from 1996...somehow his fat ass got into a little kid's chair and was sound asleep, comfortable as fuck. (I had to take a picture of the picture with my digital cam because our scanner is broken)


Picture from not too long ago...a few weeks before he died.

I miss him like crazy. I was a fucking wreck the day my mom took him to the vet...I mean straight up fucking crying at school...

He was a beautiful Blue Point (note the awesome eyes) Himalayan Long Haired. We got him from one of my dad's good friends because he was allergic to cats and his newborn baby was too. I remember going to their house and looking all over for him, he was such a pussy, hiding under beds and shit. But after like two days of hiding at our house, he was the friendliest cat ever. He was strange as hell too, but what cat isn't. I'd had him for almost 10 years, at least.

The hardest part was going to bed every night. I used to always pick him up and carry him with me to bed, and the first few nights after he was put to sleep, I would walk around looking for him for a few seconds before realizing he wasn't there anymore.

It was incredibly sad too, he suffered for a few days. It started slow, but then it sped up. One day he just lost some movement and agility in his back legs, he couldn't jump as high, etc. Four days later he couldn't move them at all and resorted to laying in one spot all day or dragging himself around via his front legs...

Thanks for listening. He died about a month ago, but I'm not sure of the exact date...March 26 maybe. I'm sure most of you have lost a pet at one time or another, and eventually you all will. It's tough; they become part of your family. I cried while typing this; you never really get past it.

We lost a kitten to a disease when he was only a few months old. Watching him lie still in his box, life fading away while we futively tried to save him, was probably one of the saddest things I've ever experienced in my life.
