I manage to fit a VCR, an Xbox, a Gamecube, a PS2, a DVD player, a badass amp, a speaker, and an AV switch into, approximately, the space you have your Xbox, VCR and PS2 in. By fit, though, I mean "Everything is on top of everything else". I have to lift up the switch to put a game in my Cube, because the sheer amount of cables going over the top means that it's impossible to open otherwise.

I hope whatever console Nintendo come up with next is front loading.

They ought to all be front loading, and then get a standard width so we can put them all in a rack.

I used to have everything in that one space, but I couldn't see my clock. Also putting my GameCube down there made it easier for all the cords to reach everyone on my sofa, because given their length, that was an issue.

I have that problem with the Cube, too. Xbox seems to have more slack than a fat man's waistband, and I have extensions for my PS2 controller cables, but Gamecube has neither solution, so whoever is sitting on the end of my couch has to sort of crouch forward to be able to play.

It's the traditional console gamer pose.

The way I have it set up everyone can sit at ease and play the GameCube, or any of the other systems.

The disc things I got at the Container Store. I love that place, but its dangerous as I could easily spend mass amounts of money there.

As for Rebellion, I liked it. Not cuz it was a good game, but just because I was (and still am) a huge Star Wars dork. When I was 15, I actually made a website for it using HTML I learned of some tutorial page. Bask in my dorkiness.

Really? It works fine in mine. Or was that a funny reference to its ugliness and sadness?
