Counter Strike Source sprays 10/16/04 5:44pm
Yeah there arent many people here doing it, but its one of the few things of CS:S I REALLY like.

What is a spray?

Its a picture, with a maximum size of 256x256 pixels (a 2^x size, where x is a positive, non zero integer with a max value of 8).

How do I make them?

You can import JPG, TGA and some other files (if they are the correct size) into CS:S. Options -> Import Spray

If you want to have transparency you'll need to add an alpha layer to your image. Save as 32 bit TGA file.

so, here's my sprays so far:

GSF Spray, also available without "SPRAY'D"


UT2004 spray :P


Llama spray


Jesus spray


CALZONE'D spray


and I also have a goatse spray, which I will not link here:

you can download all sprays here (put both the vmt and vtf files in your half-life-2-dir/cstrike/materials/vgui/logos/)

I had an old spray for CS which was just my icon. Are sprays easier to do now? I'd love some good, more professional looking sprays (Image quality died down on mine).

goatse spray needs the background transparented out.

Haha, these things are awsome man, I"ve been using the Jesus, and Cal'zoned one everytime I play. You have no idea how many times people have said the Jesus on in particular is hilarious and very well done.
