My first XP install = so much fun!

Just in case anyone gives a flying squirrel:

Windows skin via Window Blinds Free Version.

Window Blinds skin here.

Icons are Noia Natural.

Rainlendar with R-Calendar1.0 skin.

Rainmeter with PixelWhite1.0 skin.

Winamp with Impulse skin.

Wallpaper is just something I found somewhere on deviantart.

Having a quicklaunch bar that you need to scroll through is sexy these days, as is not finding shit.

Its pretty simple for me. Anything used daily is on my quicklaunch, anything used every few days on the desktop.

I have mine organized. Utilities, games, and misc stuff are grouped together. I just wish I could apply subdirectories to my quicklanch.

dude, if you right-click on the taskbar and go to toolbars | new toolbar, you can make link to a folder of shortcuts and organise that way.

i've got one for just games, but you could easily organise things out for just about everything. you're basically just making your own personalised start menu

I refuse to have anything on my PC that i cant get to in less then 5 seconds.

Been spoilt by Macs i guess.

see, anything I use all the time Firefox, Thunderbird, Winamp, Explorer goes on the quicklaunch. everything else in a neatly organised 3-click start menu (example: start -> programs -> games -> all my games)
