Kickass picture and all, but somehow I always figured the Emperor of Mankind would be cooler if we never got to see how he really looked. Leaving it to imagination to view a living god and everything.

I've always assumed that he is not, in fact, a living God. Instead he was a great and powerful leader who has been deified. Granted, he had nearly godlike powers in some respects, so the line may be blurry, but at this point I doubt that his will amounts to much.

I would assume that it would depend upon what you would define as a god. Considering how he still, in a state of near-death, fuels the navigation of all warp-travel in the galaxy, I'd have to agree that it's a blurry line indeed.
