No, this isn't another omg teh wite ninja is teh betar tahn teh blak ninja omg noe teh wite is teh best adn u suk fgt thread.

I'd like to tell you a story, if I may, it's a true story. It happened to an attractive young man by the name of Quizical on the 25th of June, 2004, between the hours of 2pm and 5pm.

Quizical was reclining in his bed, dozing after a hard's night/morning of Deus Ex. His kindly mother knocks on his door.
"Tim, it's Gav on the phone."
Quizical fights off a case of being-woken-up-grumpiness and thanks his mother. He springs out of bed and puts on his trusty kimono.
He descends the stairs swiftly, ending his journey on the sofa and picking up the phone.
"Hey slut" says Gav "Do you want to go for a bike ride today?"
Quizical and his group of friends had taken to going for bike rides, whether it's to relive their youth, for exercise, or just because it's fun, I am unsure.
"Uhh, not sure I can be bothered." says Quizical "When?"
Gav and Quizical continue their conversation, Quizical requests an hour to shower, get dressed and find train times. The request is granted.

Half past 3. Quizical tries Gav's girlfriend's mobile phone, which is the designated phone-to-be-called.
Answer-machine. Reasoning that there was a lecturer in the room, he resolves to try again in a minute.
A couple of minutes pass, Quizical passes the time by reading the paper. He tries again. Answer machine. He leaves a message just in case she checks it.
Quizical is glancing at his watch nervously now, there's about half an hour to go until his train arrives, and the station is a mile or two away, nearly all uphill.
"I shall let ten minutes pass." states Quizical "Then I shall be pissed."
The minutes pass by. Quizical decides to go down the stairs to where the computer resides.
"I shall view some webcomics."
Instead of starting off with the daily-updated comics, as is his habit, for some reason he decides to look at White Ninja first. Although he enjoys the comic immensely, it is not his favourite, so the reason for picking this comic to look at first, and breaking his routine, is unknown. Intuition perhaps.

While he is finding the bookmark, clicking, and waiting for the page to load, Quizical is pondering a possibility. He is pondering whether to catch the train and then wait for his friends. He could take a mobile phone and call them from the station. The comic loads, it is this.
"That's kind of appropriate." says Quizical. He decides to follow the advice of White Ninja, and stay where he is.

Despite this brief moment of amusement, our young hero is getting somewhat annoyed. He has tried the telephone again, but yet again there is no answer. He is unsure whether to let on that he is pissed off as he does not know if it would have any effect and might cause more trouble than it's worth.
He decides to consult White Ninja. He goes to the archives and closes his eyes. Rapid manipulation of the Page Up and Page Down keys, along with the scroll wheel, occurs. He opens his eyes and picks the first comic he sees.
"That is the exact reaction they would have." he says in amazement.

Wanting to see if it would work again, he tries one last
time.
"Oh crap." says Quizical "I haven't eaten."

He prepares a sandwich and tries the phone. Miracle upon miracles, it is answered.
He gets to the station with two minutes to spare, and the world rejoices.

I plan to get the White Ninja comic books as soon as possible, and will consult them as needed.
