I have the urge, do you have the inclination?

Every now and again I get this urge. Generally it starts off with Masters of Orion 2. I generally build these massive empires, until, at one point, far in the future, I start cleansing the galaxy of all life.
The general gist of my approach is join me or die. Sometimes it's join me
and
die, but mostly, it's just join me or die.
But as fun as the Masters of Orion 2 empires I build, and for that matter, my Civilization III escapades, are, I feel I'm missing something: This is mostly because the combat in both of these games is what I like to call "sorely lacking" as much as I get to kick some ass on a galactic level, I still seem to miss massive gouts of blood as well as the joy of the employment of heavy ordinance.
Basically, the combat sucks.
So from there I tend to move onto the classic, the immovable, the crafting of stars.
It's around here that I remember that other people exist, mostly because, well, Starcraft not only has multiplayer, it has multiplayer on a grand scale. It has multiplayer to the point that all other forms of play seem inconsequential.
So basically, I need peeps to play starcraft with now. Right now.

Right, it's installed and the patch is downloading as we speak. I haven't played this thing in years, so don't expect any kind of talent or skill. There will be lag (I'm named Redping for a reason), but the lag I get from Starcraft isn't so bad, as long as I don't host.
I hope you still want to play, because practically no-one in IRC wants a game, and Jyril won't play me 'till tomorrow.

Oops, I must have missed this topic earlier. Well, I'm always ready and willing to play some SC, even though I suck at it (I don't think I ever finished the single player...). But in my view, losing can be just as much fun as winning, in the right circumstances: like in the first LAN game I ever played, my opponent destroyed me with Probes. That was fun. (I have definitely improved since then, but still not up to the standard of your average Battle.net player.)
