This competition would not be fair because "certain" members would gain an anfair advantage due to the bruise resistant material (e.g. Platinum or Gold) their are made of.

Easy, he's the leader of a suicide cult that he's managed to con everyone in to give him all their money and possessions. After which he gets everyone to take part in a mass suicide by sliting their wrist, however he deliberately cuts his wrist wrong so he doesn't die. Then he takes all the goods a leaves town with the only evidence being marks on his wrist!
