I'm currently hanging out in one of my school's computer labs wasting some time because a professor decided not to show up for class today, and I just registered my classes for the next tri (my school runs on trimesters). This is something I've been putting off for a while, so YAY ME. For a change, I'm actually pretty excited about this upcoming batch of classes.

Active Server Pages (ASP)
Sophmore Web Maintanence Team
Advanced Web Design Concepts

So what do your class loads look like? <white>ROFL LOAD HE SAID LOAD!</white>
I'm a web design and e-commerce major, so I'm really happy that I'm finally getting into some tech related classes, as such was not the case my first year (read: a lot of my time wasted).

This semester I'm only taking 11 hours because I dropped my Philosophy of Biology class. They said you didn't need any background in biology to take the class, but the stuff we were talking about was over my head.

The classes I'm left with are
Italian - First sememster
US History - Pre-columbus to civil war
Government - Intro course

Next sememster I'll be taking the second half of those same classes, and most likely another Logic course. I loved my last logic class, and I think I was the only person in it who did.

Majoring in Philosophy (debating a change, but it will probably stick) and I'm going to The University of Texas in Austin.

GO LONGHORNS!

I'm doing 3 A-Levels at College (6th form) right now:

Sociology - (Education, Family, Theory and Method, Crime and Deviance, Religion so far)
Information Communication Technology - (Presentation, Spreadsheet Design, Database Construction, Internet Design and Publishing Techniques)
History - (British from Richard III to Elizabeth, European from Louis XIV to the revolution so far)

Did a 'half' A-Level last year, but you have to drop at least one subject to take up General Studies (Crap course of simple Science, Maths, Language, Politics, etc). T'was Economics (International and National Economy, Market System and Market Failure).

I'm aiming to do a degree (BSc) in Computer Science (Games Programming/Technology/Development) next year.

Why not? The industry is hueg. Any good programmer can get in. It's no different than specializing in mobile computing, or net applications, or whatever.

The only thing I can brag about is having taken Computer Science AP (Advanced Placement - take a test, and you're possibly elligible for college credit) last year - well, along with AP Psychology and AP Music Theory.
Currently, in my senior year of highschool, I take:
Writing Seminar
Integrated Liberal Studies - the biggest interdisciplinary ever, discussing world views (school-specific, mandatory in your senior year.)
Calculus
Shakespeare
Physics.

=) I'm actually pretty happy with my courses.

Yea, I'm in my senior year of high school too. I totally don't want to have to deal with getting into a college. I want to major in something English related, but I don't know what sort of career that will set me up for. I'm a little scared, but I'm such a manly man that I'll tough it out. Plus I haven't taken my SATs yet and I don't really know which college I want to go to...

You haven't taked your SATs? Well you'll have to take them this spring as the Fall one uses the old version and Californian colleges won't accept that anymore.
