Over the past few years I've become interested in D&D (thanks to Penny Arcade). My attempts to get a group have been mixed at best. Start a game with my girlfriend and a couple of her friends. Then she dumped me.
Fortunately when I took my new job one of the other faculty is a nerd convert via her husband and I found out they have a gaming group. I'm now part of it. They don't play D&D, but it's still fun, and nice to have a little personal social interaction in a new place. Sadly we only meet every other Sunday.

We try to play Vampire: The Masquerade every other friday, but practically we end up playing every other month at times. When we do manage to play regularly it's good fun :P.
Somehow we managed to turn VTM from dark gothic-y to a batshit insane miami 80's fest. Our coterie drives around in a black van (with a red stripe) and calls themselves Bad Attitude.

What time are you planning to start playing Tribes? I'll make a Steam Event to remind everyone. Give me the time zone when you post or post it in EST to make it easier for me.
EDIT: I've made Holiday a moderator on the group which will allow him to post events.

I was able to get it running through the desktop, now trying the same through steam...*fingers crossed*

Well I made a steam event for tonight but just deleted it, got free M83 tickets for a concert tonight, trumps Tribes Ass.

I can't get it working on steam but can play an un-steamy game...and hell damn fart do I suck. Buuuut it's still fun, and I can probably still frag Noq
