Every few months I exhaust my usual rotation of sites and wind up here on the off chance that there's some activity, which there obviously hasn't been in ages... but it occurred to me that others might be lurking but have nothing to add to dead threads.

So... anyone still about?

I get notified whenever there's a new post, which as you can imagine, isn't often. it does mean I don't need to lurk per se though.

Having said that, I did a software upgrade on this VPS recently, and ended up "checking everything still works" by... reading through a bunch of old threads here. Solid half hour of entertainment.

I think I need a new RSS reader actually, since it still hasn't told me about your second post here.

I don't know how many other people actually use feed readers anymore, but it's probably my fault for not having it available on here earlier, for others to use when it was still active.

I hid it! It can only be found by following an excessively convoluted series of clues which I have laid about the forum.
