Alright, so I got bored with my Engineer and have started an Embermage. For a challenge I am trying to use mostly electric-tree stuff.

So far I am having quite a bit more fun. I think the Embermage is just a more entertaining character to be.

The Main attack for the Electric tree of the Embermage is pretty good. The bolts that track down people...

Yeah, I didn't know that ice teleport thing did damage as well until I looked at in in the tree.

Not interested in the damage though, so just one point it is.

So yeah, I am using this, and it's good. Though being not-just-electric, it means I benefit from putting a point in to each of the three types of Brand skills, so I'm not really so much a pure electric mage anymore.

But I rather like it. I now have too many skills to choose from with my points, so I never have any spare. As an Engineer I could focus on just a few skills, while as an Outlander I sometimes had 5-6 skill points just sitting there, until I decided to just put all my excess ones in to Dodge.

I'm still finding the Embermage overall to be a much more satisfying character overall.
