Slashdot's in with a grim report from the husks GameSpy's tech devision. If your old games used GameSpy for multiplayer, they might be finished.

Seems a bit rotten to me. GLU is only offering to switch services back on to devs who pay up tens of thousands more than they previously had to.
I see this going down the drain very quickly now. I would have thought that IGN selling the division off to GLU would have included some kind of contract to continue services for a reasonable amount of time, but perhaps not.
