I've been wanting to get back into the swing of things, but I don't have the time to be sucked into another MMORPG. Diablo I hear is not such a daemon but has multiplayer aspects.

Thoughts on the subject?

Should the Management buy Diablo III?

I heard that Diablo III, especially at end game is pretty much a grindfest. The plan is to wait until it comes down in price and then buy a 4-pack (so to speak, since there likely won't be a 4-pack we might as well wait for it to come down in price) and then give it a try.

We're enjoying Torchlight II for now.

I voted Othar. I enjoyed the first three difficulties, Normal, Nightmare, Hell. But Inferno was very unpleasant to finish. I'd say yeah buy it but don't play Inferno. Also $60 is maybe too much for the game, i'd say wait till it drops to $50 or $40, but knowing blizzard that will be years.

It's a good game if you quit after 3 difficulties just know what you are getting into.

If you're fluent in Spanish I have a key I haven't used.

Get Torchlight 2 instead. Costs less, just as much fun, and it has multi-player option too.

^^ This

I have both, Torchlight II is just more fun. Diablo III just takes itself way to seriously.

You could also try out Path of Exile which is a f2p ARPG very similar to Diablo II's environment feel but with a bit more modern graphics look. Open Beta should be soon but you can buy a $10 founder's package and get access now.

Lol yup it's Fate but all grown up. Good times though, I already lost a few hours to it.

Now I just need to figure out steam again. Haven't used it in ages.

A Torchlight 2 patch today. Fixes one crash in a fairly specific circumstance.

Patch size? 567.7 MB. I just don't get it. That's a third of the full game's install size.

I've just received a Path of Exile beta invite, so I'll be firing that up once I get back from Amsterdam.

Yeah, they still haven't quite got patching down, it's basically just re-download most of the game(or all of it like the original TL).

I really liked Diablo 3, but it's ridiculously easy on normal difficulty. If I were to replay it, I'd probably want to start a new class instead of continuing my Wizard, but the lack of challenge would just make it seem like a grind.
