Must be a joke, but I hear Affleck is playing the Dark Knight... and Damon is playing Robin.

Damon as Robin is a joke.

Affleck as batman is a sad truth

People should only get one chance to play a superhero. If they screw it up (...daredevil), they should not be allowed another.

I don't know about that. I think that Affleck would make a better Flash than Daredevil or Batman. Just because he has been in a bad movie, or is being miscast doesn't mean he shouldn't get another chance.

Affleck as Batman? Not sure about that.
Affleck as Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy? Sure, that works just fine for me.

I feel that Ben Affleck's performances are generally closely tied to the quality of the script. Where somebody like Christian Bale can make up for a poorly written script, Ben Affleck will simply stumble around. However, when a script's good, he usually manages just fine.

Let's all just forget about Daredevil. No actor could've saved that mess.

But don't forget Argo. That alone earns him a second chance.

I've decided to take a wait and see approach. I was SO excited when they did the reveal that Bats would be in the next movie and I'm not ready for that to be dead yet.

I wanted a Nightwing movie, if I'm honest (yes I know it means skipping Robin entirely, but they aren't exactly sticking to the comics 100% here, and as I'm not a comic nerd I'm not going to cry too much about that)

We could take a nice break from Batman for a bit, and then they can relaunch the series in a few years and do the character origin AGAIN like we know they're going to.

And Daredevil wasn't that bad. I liked the young kid Matt Murdoch, and I always like Michael Clarke Duncan.

(okay, so everything else was naff - but no more naff than Batman Returns...)

The only part of Daredevil I liked was Bullseye. I like Duncan, but I didn't like him in that, sadly.
