I'm totally famous. I got a shoutout on Manchester radio today. If I am reading the slogan on the website correctly, it was heard by 100% of Manchester. That's a lot of people.

I expect this will mean red carpet and/or a knifing when I get around to visiting.

You're not reading the slogan right, it was just SOUTH Manchester.

But they have about 10,000 listeners at that time of day, according to the station manager.

So it's a fair few.

(also, seeing as it's my mrs who DJs, why haven't I ever had a shout-out? She sometimes takes the piss out of me on air, but that's hardly the same thing...)
