Tribes whatever-it's-called |

I play D&D every wed night except the first wed of the month and want to need that time for gaming otherwise, so Tribes??? Either the new one or 2 (tribesnext.com). Who's in?

Hells yeah, definitely up for some Tribes: Ascend, if we can coordinate the timezones.

Happy to give it a go, I only have Tribes: Ascend.
Most of my XP has gone towards buying Technician gear so far.

I hear google are doing interesting things with hangouts. It'd be nice to finally have a use for Google+.

In Reply To #4 Does that mean tonight? I could be in. Vent? Is there voice in game? I have Ascend but haven't loaded it up in a while. That's like 9pm for me right?

This is why timezones should be abolished and Australia set to 00Z.

I play at BioWare with some of my husband's co-workers. He himself doesn't play, but he lets me in the building with my chips, pop, dice and figures. We have a whiteboard table and use a shaving mirror over the projector connected to a P.C. to run our maps. It's really quite brilliant. Over the summer we did world building and now we're playing our world in 5th Ed.
Holly, I meant next wed.

In Reply To #13 Ah, I did jump on last night and played around for a bit. I have a weird issue where every 5 minutes or so everything seems to freeze, mashing some important keys (alt, esc, tab whatever) seems to smack it back to life in the pause (generally dead) screen. Kind of frustrating. I will try and sort it out over the week so I won't be an unfortunate mess come next Wednesday.
As for the enviable D&D set up... I've never played D&D but I think a setup like that would be a gateway. It is as though I don't want to learn to drive a Ford Taurus, straight to the Aston Martin.

Kinda makes my "sometimes we make a rudimentary table using an MDF board and some supports, if we can be arsed" roleplaying set up seem a bit shit now...
