I feel kind of bad about being condescending to Head since he's a grown man now.
HEY. WAIT A MINUTE. Head's sister must be legal by now. The magic is ruined :C

She's actually 22 and a chemist at a laboratory now. I'm in there then! I've got all the chemistry chat up lines, I do (though frankly if I ever used "I wish I was the nucleophile in an SN2 reaction so I could attack your backside" I might as well just end it all there and then)!

"Did you just drop this electron?" "No." "Are you positive?"
thankyou, thankyou, I'm here all week.
I can do physics jokes as well:
Two cats are sat on a roof, which one falls off first? The one with the lowest Mu.
...because the letter Mu represents the coefficient of static friction and is also quite similar to the noise a cat makes. I'll get my coat.

Can't get enough of the self-titled from Deep Time. They used to be called Yellow Fever (and had a self-titled under that name, too) but apparently another band called dibs so they had to change. Their old stuff was a bit more '90s lo-fi indie, but this new album is something else... it's just really fucking clean and polished but not over-produced or busy. Some of the catchiest drumming I've ever heard, books of hooks! Each song is like a jangly, pop-rock ear worm. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAA5yzJJ5KI

In Reply To #43 Ooh, good stuff that. Looks like you're going to make me start spending money on music all over again, I seem to remember you recommending some great stuff back at GSF. As for jangly pop rock, Allo' Darlin' have been one of my favourite exponents of it recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGrnXEBq3QE
