I've had this PC on for 483 days straight now, with the browser auto-refreshing the Active Topics. I scripted it to play a sound file whenever it detects a change, which is currently set as a very loud and distorted "meow" that I found on reddit. Or I get RSS alerts. |

I actually don't know anyone aside from myself who even uses a feed reader these days, to be honest. But I find it useful.

In Reply To #7 I also stop by every once in a while :) Usually when I'm a bit bored and start refreshing the same couple of pages over and over again in the hopes that one of them suddenly has some interesting update. It's strange. Normally the internet is too big and active for me to possibly keep up, but when I'm bored, everybody appears to stop updating at the same time. |
