Drawn by Gabe of Penny Arcade, many of these characters were originally created for GameSpy's The Daily Victim comic which has a full archive available online. The original collection from the year 2000 is made up of 50x50 pixel GIF images with single-channel transparency.

Modernising the icons utilized Waifu2x upscaling with some manual clean-up where needed, referencing Daily Victim material to ensure accuracy. The results are 200x200 pixel AVIFs with full alpha-channel transparency.
